Lance McDermott - MTB Pro Rider

Lance McDermott der MTB Pro Rider aus Manchester liegt zur Zeit leider mit einem gebrochenen Bein zu hause. Die Saison ist für ihn gelaufen, aber Dank der Unterstützung seiner Freundin, Familie und Sponsoren kann er sich bestens für die kommende Saison 2010 vorbereiten. Und dann wird er stärker als je zuvor sein!:) Wir drücken ihm jedenfalls die Daumen!

The Questions:

1. How are you? We hope you´re fine!?

I’m feeling good, but suffering with a broken leg right now :(

2. Where are you right know and what did you do yesterday? Riding?

Im in bed filling in this interview and yesterday was my last day in hospital

3. Are you engaged? Do you have family…? What do they think about your “extraordinary job”? Or do you have a “real life” job?

I’m in a relationship with a baby on the way :) my family support me so well.

4. This is what you do best (aside riding):

I only ride eat sleep. I’m out now for 4 months with my leg but will be back strong for 2010.

5. What else? (Eating? Cooking? Being creative?)

I’m good at eating and my girlfriend is best at cooking ;)

6. What’s your passion?

My passion is to be the best I can be in anything I try in in life

7. Your craziest experience / which meeting in your life touched you most?

The day I found out I was going to be a father

8. What would you do, if you weren´t a MTB pro?

I have no idea haha

9. Which kind of trick you are working on?

Just to get back strong and on my bike

11. Why do you ride??? What was your intention to start riding? How did you get to it?

Like any other kid started on a bmx bike became something spezial.

12. Think about… what will be in 5, 10 and 25 years… what will you do then? Teach little boyz and girlz how to ride???

13. Tell the folks in Germany how do you spend your daily life: where do you live? And what's life like over there…

I see myself as a lucky but strong minded guy I have put many years of hard work into mtb and will do for many more years. I will train strong at home and come back to the contests big and stronger than before.
